AND YET ANOTHER CHRISTMAS PROJECT

These centerpieces were made for my job's christmas party.  I was asked to make 12 and am proud to say that I got them all done in a matter of five (5) hours!

Supplies used:
3 - 8ft garland
1 - 24" garland to fill in bare spots
4 - mug floral foam rounds
christmas picks (there are 4 per arrangement)
12 - glass votive candles
lots of glue sticks
glue gun
wire cutters
3 3/4" circle rounds (to protect the table and cover the foam on the bottom) I had these left over from a scrapbooking project cut with cricut machine.

The colors I used were red, white, and silver.  Sorry I don't have pictures of the finished table, I forgot my camera!  But picture all the tables with red and white tablecloths, then red, white, and silver ribbon streaming down four corners in spirals and the center piece sitting in the center lit.
The idea is a package all wrapped up!

Hope you can invision my masterpiece for I enjoyed it much.
Thanks for stopping by.

REST IN PEACE DIANNE

Sorry I have not posted in a very long time.  Looks like christmas came and went. And my gifts are still under the tree unopened! WOW!  I guess they will eventually be opened before the New Year. Everything was going fine until December 18th.  I suffered a very unexpected lost of my bff who was like a sister. I have good days and bad days.  I reflect back on every moment we shared together and remember there were many great days we shared.  I guess that's what makes it so difficult because we can't share them anymore.  I wake up and am tempted to call her but have to catch myself because she won't be answering. I have to remember when I drive by her house that she is no longer there and I can't stop. It is very hard guys because its not like I can reroute, I have no choice but to pass her house, for she was two houses down from me and I passed her to get house.  I am not depressed about the lost as I know if she could still be here she would, but then I think, all the pain she dealt with is no more, being tired all the time, and short of breath all gone, sad to say I find comfort in losing her to have her not suffer from her many afflictions.

So in memory of you, save me a game or two of 5000 over in glory and I'll always remember you and think of you when I go to Country Fisherman (Our favorite place to Eat).  Thank you for everything thoughout my life as I have known you for 33 years! You may be gone but never forgotten. I will always remember you through your "big boy" Kaleel. REST IN PEACE!!!

Tweety got glitter glued and the cake has stickles in scattered straw. The image was matted on black cardstock and dimensionals were added for depth.  The corner treatments were cut with storybook cartridge and dimensionals were added as well.

Thanks for viewing my page.

DIANNE'S BIRTHDAY CARD

Pooh's hat as well as the cake have been glitter glued.  The sprigs are a branch punch by Martha Stewart.  I used pearls around the scalloped square as well as, for the flower centers.  The bottom border is the Drippy Goo punch by Martha Stewart found it at Michael's.

I used Sharpie ultra fine point markers to color the image.  To keep the image from bleeding, after printing, I heat set it with my heat gun and again after coloring. Tweety as well as the cake got glitter glue added to them. It was matted on black cardstock and dimensionals were at for depth. The ribbon is Black, White, POP from the celebrate it collection picked up at Michael's.  It was on sale regularly $3.99 got it for $1.00.  I almost forgot about the waves to the left over the two circles cut with the fiskas wavy scissors.

MISCHIEF

I must be out of the blah stage because I created three scrapbook layouts today! Yea for me! This layout was created using Provo craft super slab 9 for the background and sunburn double-sided paper to mat photos. The flourish was cut from sunburn paper in light green, the word "mischief" was cut with best occasions black cardstock using storybook of course, at "M"-4" and all others at 1 1/2". I embellished with prima botanical mix and prima fancy stix flowers from the Nursery Tales collection.

Thanks for looking and be blessed! Feel free to post a comment.

CENTER OF ATTENTION

Hi everyone, I'm finally back again! Sorry about the delay as I had to replace a laptop, wireless, card, and digital camera, because someone less fortunate than me decided to steal them. I prayed it through, and the Lord knows best! He blessed me with better than what I had! The only thing I have not replaced was the digital camera. It's in the plans. So bear with me! All my layouts will be photographed with my cell phone and uploaded. Keep me in your prayers, and I will keep you in mine. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Thank you so much for stopping by, be blessed!

I almost forgot about the layout! Sorry!!! I used Provo craft super slab 9 for the background. The swirls were cut using storybook at 3". Center of attention was cut with Tinkerbell and Friends at 4 3/4". I used prima flowers from the botanical mix collection as a simple embellishment on the swirls. Photo is matted on DCWV mat stacks in pink. The journal tag was cut with storybook. I love storybook!

Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Lytana!

I created this card for a dear friend for her 38th Birthday. It wasn't something she expected as I had never created a card for her before. I must say she was speechless! I struggled with this one because I am so use to using flowers only for my birthday cards but to drag a mouse in, what was I thnking?! Anywho! card is 6.50" x5" , I cut a 4" square and embossed it with the swiss dots folder from cuttlebug. I used a cotton ball dabbed with violet pigment ink and swiped across the square to make the dots pop. The scallop was cut using Storybook cartridge at 4.75". It is the flower shadow also highlighted the scallop edges. Stamp is House Mouse soothing bath. Colored with Sharpie and Bic ultra fine markers. Flowers are from making memories and gems are by Darice. the branches are punched using a Martha Stewart branch punch. The paper is Sunburn doublesided paper stack picked up at Sam's Club. The branches were an unexpected find as the paper was a check pattern in greens only. I love the variations in the color.

Best wishes card

I made this card for my niece who got married on July 11, 2009. Her colors were eggplant, light pink, and silver. I made this card before I saw the actual colors and I was impressed that I came up with almost an exact match! Card size is 6.5" x 5" The background as well as the forground paper is by Paper Passport paper collage scraps by Provocraft. The scalloped oval is cut from Home Decor frame. I simply rotated it. The paper is DCWV glitter stack in pink. Blck oval cut at 3.25" and white oval cut at 3". Stamped image is from Autumn Leaves wedding set. I used psychedelic transparent embossing powder on the dress, colored the bouquet violet along with the flower in the bride's hair. And I was done. I was very happy with how it turned out. Share what you think and thanks for looking!

Beautiful & Handsome

These two pages will be dedicated to the bride and groom. The words beautiful and handsome were cute with Storybook cartridge at 1". Glitter glue in silver was added to the letters. The circles and ovals were cut with Plantin Schoolbook at 3.50" of course cardstock is #120 bright white. The flowers are vellum from the Paper Studio. I layered the flowers and inserted brads also from the Paper Studio. I look forward to your comments and thanks for Looking.

The dress 2

I forgot about the silver pearls in the center of the flowers! And all labels are computer written and edged with a silver metallic marker by Pearlescent Painters. Thanks for looking!

The dress

This is the layout dedicated to just the dress! The paper is by the Paper Studio, scallop circle was cut with storybook cartridge using the flower 1 shadow paper used was silver metallic by Best Occasions metallics stack, the oval background that the sticker dress sits on is black card stack from The Paper Company picked up at Michaels cut at 3.25" from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. The flower border was made from paper casts and tinted with violet and peony pigment ink from Colorbox the Paintbox collection. The leaves were tinted with fresh green also from this collection. The sticker dress is by the Paper Studio wedding series, I added rhinestones to the bottom of the dress for added bling.

Wedding album pages for my niece

As part of their wedding gift, I thought it to be wonderful for me to create a wedding album for my niece. The album is 8 x8 and cardstock is from the Paper Studio 8x8 black & white stack. The swirls were cut with cricut expession from the Home Decor cartridge at 1.50", the paper used is by Best occasions metallic paper pack in purple picked up at Walmart. The rhinestones are from Recollections picked up at Michaels. Labels were cut from #120 cardstock from Office Depot using Home Decor at 2.75". The circles and ovals were both cut from Plantin Schoolbook at 3.50". The sticker is from the Paper Studio wedding series. I choose black & white because her colors were eggplant, light pink, and silver. I will be posting pictures from the wedding later. I look forward to your comments and thanks for looking!
